THE LEGEND OF BRUCE LEE Vol. Two Kicks onto DVD

Jeri Jacquin

Currently on DVD from director Lee Moon-Ki and Well Go USA Entertainment is the next volume about the life of THE LEGEND OF BRUCE LEE Volume Two.

Bruce Lee (Danny Chan) is still upset about how his last fight with Mr. Yamamoto (Mark Dacascos) ended. Uncle Shao (Wang Luoyong) tries to make him see reason about the fight but he is also in town for the Asian Culture Festival. Trying to help his nephew understand reason, Bruce can not seem to get over the loss.

But as his school in Seattle begins to do well, the classes are filled with people from all walks of life – even the local police. When Bruce learns that Yamamoto trains with ‘the iron man’, he knows it is time to meet up with the fighter. Friend Kimura wants Bruce to slow down and worries for him.

Nothing is going to stop Bruce as he begins training with an iron man to take on Yamamoto. After some time training, he goes to Yamamoto and they go fist to fist and once again as Bruce begins to learn about his opponent. He is now set on creating fighting style that is inclusive of everything he has learned of martial arts.

Becoming a philosophy major at school in Seattle, Bruce begins making a name for himself. Seeking out help from Professor Kane, he knows that the path he is taking will work. Blair (Ted E. Duran) wants his former Professor Inosanto (Ning Li) to meet with Bruce but is met with resistance. Even Kimura is reaching out to his friend Mr. Wally Jay (Tim Storms) asking that he meet with Bruce and again met with resistance.

Everyone seems to take Bruce as arrogant and when Wally Jay accepts a challenge in the park with him, many show up to see it happen. In the end a respect between the men exists. Jessie isn’t happy about what has happened wanting Bruce to hurt Wally Jay. Blair and Kimura (Liu Dong) try to explain it to him but his anger keeps getting in the way.

In the California Karate Competition, Bruce’s once again wins and fellow fighter Hoffman (Yannick Van Dam) wants him to open a school in Oakland. Linda is not happy about it but when Bruce proposes and buys a house, she changes her feelings.  That’s the least of it when the kung fu masters become furious that Bruce doesn’t ask them about opening a school.

That is put on hold as Bruce must return home when his father passes away. Coming back to America, a fight with the Yellow Brat is his next fight. When it goes horribly wrong Bruce become paralyzed from the waist down and told he may never walk again.

Unable to teach, Linda talks Bruce into writing a good about martial arts and the theories of fighting. Now that they have son Brandon, Linda wants Bruce to become strong once again and an incident of chance changes everything. The school once again brings those who want to learn something special like Jeet Kune Do. Rolex (Ray Park), a fighter who is considered the best, decides he wants to meet with Bruce in a championship match. Turning to others who have fought him, Rolex gets the information on how he might win.

Bruce turns to taekwondo master Piao Zhengyi and a single battle leads to a mutual exchange in teaching techniques and a friendship. Kimura knows that Piao is holding back his teaching and once again his family and friends are afraid for Bruce.

Nothing is going to stop Bruce Lee – or no one!

Bruce Lee experienced so much in his short life yet every step he took would become legendary. The 3-disc LEGEND OF BRUCE LEE Vol. Two DVD includes 10 episodes with a total of 456 minutes of storytelling about the revolutionizing of martial arts.

Chan portraying Bruce Lee is intense and not afraid to give us a portrayal of this legendary martial artist. There isn’t any one from young adult to older that doesn’t know Bruce Lee, his films or isn’t keenly aware of his contribution to martial arts.

Now, those same people will have a chance to understand how he became the one and only, the legendary Bruce Lee.

THE BOUNCE BACK Bounces on DVD This Week

Jeri Jacquin

Rolling onto DVD and Digital HD this week from director Youssef Delara and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is a look at unexpected love with THE BOUNCE BACK.

Matthew Taylor (Shemar Moore) is an author with a book on relationships called The Bounce Back. Touring to promote it he also tries to find time to meet a lady or two and be with his daughter Aleya (Nadja Alaya).

Promoter Terry Twist (Bill Bellamy) wants Matthew to actually be in a relationship to help book sales. During a two-day seminar he meets Kristin Peralta (Nadine Velazquez), a therapist who thinks Matthew pushes a quick fix to people’s pain. Her friends Sarah (Megan Stevenson) and Jessica (Kali Hawk) decide to get her out for some fun.

When a video of Kristin trying to put Matthew in his place makes it onto YouTube, the two are asked to appear on shows across the country. Terry is less than thrilled with the set up and even less happy that they seem to be getting along.

After a whirlwind tour together can only lead to one thing, having feelings for one another! The problem with that is when you put two people together who have feelings for one another and they believe they are experts in relationships…well you get the rest.

They have bounced into each others lives!

Moore as Matthew plays the smooth talking relationship expert who isn’t in a relationship himself. Instead he hangs out with his manager and daughter when not doing a seminar. Clashing with the character of Kristin sets everything on fire yet causes both of them to rethink the philosophies they push. Moore is charming and turns it up to high heat.

Velazquez as Kristin is a therapist who is trying to help people but keep running into those who fall for Taylor’s book The Bounce Back. Trusting that her friends will keep her entertained or a watching late night television is her idea of staying out of being hurt in a relationship.

The comic relief comes with Bellamy as Terry, the manager who wants to keep his client in the spot light. Not happy when Kristin puts a kink in his plans, he tries to keep them apart. He is a smooth talking, deal making manager and Bellamy plays the comedy to the hilt.

Stevenson as Sarah and Hawk as Jessica are happy go lucky gals who just want what’s best for their girl. They are a tad spacey but that’s what Kristin needs in her life – especially when taking everything else so seriously.

Alaya as Aleya is charming and adorable. Discovering love for herself, Dad is keeping an eye on her but also giving her the space to handle her crush.

Other cast include Michael Beach as Lester, Matthew Willig as Vladamir, Rizwan Manji as Daryl, Robinne Lee as Sam, Denise Boutte as Julie and Annie Sertich as Danika.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment brings award-winning global product and new entertainment to DVD, Bluray, and Digital HD. THE BOUNCE BACK is a charming look at love, relationships and life – at any age. Each of the characters are charming and have their own pains to deal with mixed with everything life can throw their way. That makes the story relatable, even with the comedy mixed in.

This is a perfect film for a girls’ get-together or a date night in! Order some take-out, call everyone over and make a totally fun night of it. There is something amazing about finding a film that can delight everyone and THE BOUNCE BACK brings just that.

The DVD and Digital HD of THE BOUNCE BACK can be played instantly streaming and download for television, computer, tablets and Smartphones. That makes enjoying the film almost everyplace is great for everyone to enjoy.

Our World is Even More Stunning to See with PLANET EARTH II from BBC America

Jeri Jacquin

On stunning 4K Ultra HD Bluray from BBC America narrated by Sir David Attenborough is a look at our planet and the creatures who inhabit it with an amazing look at PLANET EARTH II.

Beginning with the love life of the three-toed Sloth who hears the call of a female and moves quick – for a sloth – towards the sound of her call. To get to her something amazing happens that I never knew was possible. Of course I’m not going to tell you what that is because I want your jaw to drop as surprisingly as mine did!

Then off to watch the hunting practices of a komodo dragon who clearly know a thing or two about getting a good meal. Lemurs are teaching their young how to survive and the earth is still pouring out molten rock to expand as ten new islands have formed from the hot rivers.

On these expanded islands are huge colonies of iguana who help other species survive as well like the bug eating lizards and the body cleaning and colorful crabs! The iguana’s hatchings are born in peril as Racer snakes are their mortal enemy.

There is love in the air as well when a male seabird looks for his lovely flying mate to return so they can once again make a family. A dance of love and affection begin as they spend time together before welcoming a new family member.

Of course the famous red crabs have been having difficult on their march reaching the sea because of the Yellow Crazy Ant have created super colonies in the forest. Making their trek difficult something will have to be done.

The amazing penguins of the Galapagos also live a dangerous life and not just living near a volcano. Yet that doesn’t stop the island from becoming a nursery and parents doing what they must to feed their young. Now the two legged creatures come to the island to watch the penguins and learn that their waddling friends have the scoop on where to camp.

From the island to the highest peaks, cameras visit the Arabian Peninsula in all its grandeur to places difficult to reach. That is unless you happen to be an Ibex! Accomplished mountain climbers, it is stunning how agile they are in places that would give any human the chills.

A beautiful eagle can spot prey from two miles away but shares the sky’s with other predators who want a meal as well. Swift wings and a sharp eye aren’t about to let a meal get away and sharing isn’t on the menu.

Grizzly bears of the Rockies make their way out of their winter dens with cubs in tow. The first order of business is to find food after being asleep for many months and spring is swiftly arriving. The beautiful bobcats are also looking for a meal but the winter isn’t making it easy.

At night the mountains become bitterly cold but that doesn’t stop beauty from being created by the ice. Everything else closes up to protect itself from the night waiting for the warmth of the morning sun and it is spectacular.

In the Andes Mountains there are stunning animals surrounding its peaks and at 14,000 feet the flamingos wait for the ice to thaw from their legs. Later in the day there are dangers for human beings but not so much for the flamingos who are hilarious!

The elusive and stunningly beautiful snow leopards are finally being captured on film as their numbers dwindle because there isn’t enough food to sustain them all. The numbers being so small means also that there is a fight for a female which is life threatening and heart breaking.

Capturing more of what the mountain holds, climbers take up their shoots to paraglide down. Waiting for the weather to clear, cameramen do their best to set up cameras before the animals begin their day. Prepare to have your heart stop a few times!

From the mountains to the jungle, the cameras capture the world of survival in the animal kingdom. The Spider Monkey is graceful and have no problem climbing from the highest tree tops. Draco lizards are fast, colorful and an ant eater who will never be without a meal living in trees that produce amazing plant life.

In Ecuador, there are 100 species of hummingbirds and I adore hummingbirds! There beautiful colors and amazing tail feathers are stunning to watch. The most impressive of these tiny winged birds is the Sword-billed hummingbird.

Surprisingly, PLANET II shows viewers the Brazil Araguaia dolphins who live in the forest waters. Also living in the vegetations are so many species of animals like giant otters and Caimen crocs that can grow to 10 feet long. It is the jaguar who lives in stealth not willing to share her territory with anyone – not even another jaguar!

There are animals who use camouflage to survive the jungles as in the Geckos of Costa Rica or the tiny Glass frog who is, in my mind, absolutely adorable! Almost totally see through, it is the way he survives being a meal so go home to his large family.

When animals sleep, the night becomes a time for plants to bring out a luminescent life of their own. Using the insects crawling, they find a way to travel to different parts of the jungle to grow.

The Red Bird of Paradise shakes a beautiful tale feather in order to find the love of his life. Showing all his fancy feathery finery has to be done just right if he wants to win a females fluttery heart.

The Rainforest of Madagascar is filled with amazing creatures but the jungle is not as large as it once was. As Attenborough says, “it is filled with wonder and magic and must surely be worth protecting”.

In deserts, Attenborough takes us to Africa to show that even in the dry sands there are creatures who know how to survive like a pride of lions. The deserts of Peru are one of the most changeable on the planet that can go from barren nothingness to green and lush with a little bit of water bringing out the dreaded locust.

In the United States, it is Nevada that is seeing the hottest time of the year as the Mustang horses visit a small watering hole. Controlling this watering hold brings a power structure where a newcomer isn’t welcome but the standoff could enhance one or the others herd.

Israel has its own creatures in the desert with a bat that hunts on the ground and not from the air. What it hunts is equally as seriously scary! The battle between the bat and its prey is all survival.

Northern India has a vast array of amazing animals in the world and is one of the grasslands of the planet. As the spring bring rains to the largest grasslands on the planet and newborn creatures are hiding. The waterholes fill and the animals come which also means hunter and prey come close to one another.

The biggest water buffalo on the meadowlands is easy to see but the smallest mouse clinging to the grass blades can only be spotted from the wings above. One bird making its way through the grassland is the ostrich who is the heaviest bird on the plains, unlike the tiny birds who hitch rides on African elephants.

In South America, the grassland is ruled by the grass cutter ants who can't eat the grennery but what its used for is nothing short of astounding. But it is the resilience of these grasslands all over the planet that give animals and insects life.

It is in North America that the bison who can survive cold with their thick fur but without the food that lie under the grass they could starve. Unlike the fox who jumps his way into a meal – headfirst!

The biggest challenge facing animals living in cities is that of human beings. In India, langer monkeys live openly in the urban city and are treated so well they are thriving. The Peregrine falcon lives majestically in New York City with a vast choice of high perches in which to nest.

The city can also lay claim to having the most falcons on the planet. It is the Starlings in Europe and their beauty in the air that has been seen worldwide as they create, literally, a moving sky. In Toronto it would be nice to have wings, especially if you are a raccoon living in a chimney needing to move with babies. But there are some animals that can not adjust and it causes their survival rate to sadly decrease.

BBC Worldwide North America brings such smash hits as Dancing with the Stars, the series The Night Of, Life Below Zero and Ladies of London among other programs. For more information on programming please visit http://www.bbcamerica.com.

BBC Home Entertainment have, for the first time, made natural history television available on 4K Ultra HD Bluray. The Bonus Content includes Planet Earth Dairies with a behind-the-scenes look at the production team and the challenges of capturing footage never seen before at the end of each episode.

Narrated by Sir Richard Attenborough one can not help but listen to his voice filled with humor, a sense of wonder and urgency that brings a richness to this series. The music is provided by Hans Zimmer bringing the scope of powerful emotional that adds a wealth of feeling to the presentation.

This is an intense, amazing, brilliant, wonderful, adorable, informative, cinematically breathtaking Bluray that give us all a look at parts of our world we might never get to see for ourselves. It also raises the questions on what we can do now to ensure that these beautiful creatures both big and small continue to thrive on this planet.

There are so many ‘firsts’ captured by PLANET EARTH II from the footage of the iguanas and racer snakes battle to the glowing fungi to Goshawks collecting water for their winged young far away from the watering holes to a locust swarm devouring everything in its path. That is what makes these episodes so amazing to see!

PLANET EARTH II is a must-see for everyone and what an extraordinary way for family’s to spend quality time learning together. This is also an amazing teaching tool that I hope can be used in classrooms.

In the end – this is a stunning achievement to bring us all the epic creatures that share our world!

ARCHER The Complete Season Seven is Ready to Bring the Laughs on Bluray!

Jeri Jacquin

Now on DVD from the brilliant mind of creator Adam Reed, FXX and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is one of the funniest spy groups in history lead by the hilarious ARCHER: The Complete Season Seven.

Starting over in Hollywood with a new agency, Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) jumps right in with guest star Ona Grauer as a Veronica Deane impersonator who he feels should be respected as a Hollywood star in The Figgis Agency! This episode brings out some of the amazing voice talent of Keegan-Michael Key, Patton Oswalt and J.K. Simmons.

But Oswalt doesn’t stop there bringing the character of Alan Shapiro back when Archer and Alana (Aisha Tyler) continue with The Handoff while the everyone else is in the office having a good time over a voicemail.

In Deadly Prep Archer decides to go to a reunion that might just give him a business opportunity which is hilarious since Archer doesn’t have the best reputation or head for anything with the word business in it. Jon Daley and Jon Glaser lend their voices and Keegan Michael Key returns as Detective Diedrich.

Archer is put in a precarious position when he is asked to help locate a stranger’s birth mother but leave it to Ron Leibman to give his best vocal talent to Ron Cadillac which is always hilarious.

Bel Panto: Part I & II take Archer and Lana to a fundraiser that isn’t going to end well. I mean does any party these two attend go well? When hostage taking is as bad as cheap champagne, Archer and Lana have to find a way out. The return of Patton Oswalt, J.K. Simmons and Keegan-Michael Key has me cracking up even more.

When the battle of who is the sexiest breaks out in Double Indecency between Cyril (Chris Parnell), Krieger (Lucky Yates), Pam (Amber Nash) and Cheryl (Judy Greer) you can be sure it’s going to go down in such a way that I’m suggesting you don’t drink liquid during this episode. I shot Gatorade out of my nose and I’m still healing!

Christian Slater is Slater and he is going to make sure that during a Liquid Lunch he is going to cause trouble for Archer and Lana. No, I did not shoot anything out my nose during this episode are you crazy – alcohol stings but feel free to try it for yourself. Slater rocks!

In Deadly Velvet Part I & II the gang is back together as Keegan-Michael Key, John O’Hurley, Patton Oswalt and J.K. Simmons deal with The Figgis Agency when Crane wants more protection for Veronica Deane on the set of her new film. The problem is sometimes the gang is in more danger than the person they are protecting!

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment brings award-winning global product and new entertainment to DVD, Bluray, and Digital HD. There amazing collection offers fans an opportunity to expand their own home libraries with the best films. To discover what other titles they have please visit www.fox.com.

ARCHER: The Complete Season Seven doesn’t need a rating by me because it is absolutely mind blowingly epic on its very own. I have loved each and every season that ARCHER has been on television.

Perhaps it is because my sense of humor is twisted or perhaps it is because I adore Archer (and the voice of H. Jon Benjamin) as a man who clearly sees life differently than any other spy in the history of spies. Each of the characters in ARCHER demand the utmost in insanity and don’t give a damn what anyone thinks of them.

I think I might have just hit on the core of ARCHER – their indifference to anyone outside their group. I’m sure they’d rather just plug them one than deal with their nonsense. From Archer to Malory (the best dressed drinker ever!) and their iconic crazy mother-son relationship ever, to Tyler’s no-nonsense Lana, Greer’s hilarious Cheryl, Nash’s devil-may-care Pam, Parnell’s go-along-to-get-along Cyril and Yates comical Krieger, this amazing cast of ARCHER can do no wrong – EVER!

With Keegan-Michael Key, Patton Oswalt and J.K. Simmons added to the hilarity it must be said that these three brought even more laughs if that is at all possible.

The DVD includes the episodes The Figgis Agency, The Handoff, Deadly Prep, Motherless Child, Bel Panto: Part I, Bel Panto: Part II, Double Indecency, Liquid Lunch, Deadly Velvet: Part I and Deadly Velvet: Part II.

Also included is Archer Reviews Bond, Archer Live!, a Cast Table Read (Live on a Boat) and all on two discs that contain all ten episodes from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Grab your copy of ARCHER: The Complete Season Seven now and have a marathon of all season because the anticipated season eight is set to begin in April on FXX!

In the end – from vamp actresses to mummy’s to robotic legs to voicemails to clowns to hostages and bodies floating in pools it’s just another season with the funniest spies on television!

Who Can You Trust Out of the THREE on Bluray!

Jeri Jacquin

On Bluray this week from master director Johnnie To and Well Go USA Entertainment is the cat and mouse and the fine line of good and evil between the THREE.

Dr. Ton Qian (Vicki Zhao) is studying to be a neurosurgeon and isn’t making friends doing it. Trying to focus on her work, Ton might be pushing herself to hard. Her day doesn’t have a moment as Chief Inspector Ken (Louis Koo) is about to bring in a murder suspect.

Shun (Wallace Chung) is a gangster with a bullet in his head. Immediately Dr. Qian wants to go straight to surgery while Inspector Ken keeps a gun loaded and Shun cuffed to the bed. Right before Shun is put under the knife; he wakes up and shows his hostility towards everyone.

Ken wants to know where Shun’s cohorts are and what they next step of their plan is. The gangster is all about making everything a game and doesn’t seem to care about anyone – let alone himself with a bullet still lodged in his skull.

Dr. Qian tries to be empathetic to Shun’s plight, she tries to help which gets her nothing but trouble and on Inspector Ken’s bad side. Giving the doctor and the police clues that something else is coming, it quickly becomes clear they have no time left to stop it.

In a blink the tables are turned and the three chose their fates!

Zhou as Dr. Qian is a character who clearly is unsure about herself in so many ways which causes her to make hasty decisions. I was never sure what she was going to do next or why she seemed intent on making matters worse but still cheered for her at ever turn!

Koo as Inspector Ken has serious problems to deal with. Trying to convince his staff and boss that what happened to Shun was brought on by his own behavior, it becomes clear that he isn’t quite telling the whole story. This is where the line is stretched as to what is right and what is legal. Koo gives us a hardened cop character who isn’t going to let Shun win.

Chung as Shun is a bad guy who doesn’t take anything seriously – not even a bullet to the brain. He talks but doesn’t really say anything that Inspector Ken wants to hear and that just makes the game even more intense. Keeping an eye on everything going in the halls of the hospital means he temporarily has the upper hand.

Other cast include Lo Hoi-pang as Chung, Cheung Siu-fai as Dr. Fok, Lam Suet as Constable Fatty, Stephen Au as Tong and Timmy Hung as Chak.

Well Go USA Entertainment is an amazing company that brings the best of Action and Independent films from around the world. There format includes theatres, digital, cable and VOD along with Bluray. For more of what they have to offer go to www.wellgousa.com.

THREE is a fast paced film filled with twists and turns and things you don’t see coming until it is too late. That’s what makes this cat and mouse plot so much fun to watch. The action sequences are brilliantly done and amazingly done in a very small space. Yet every move is deliberate!

I found myself head smacking when I didn’t catch things but then again that’s the point. Keeping us side tracked constantly, the cast delivers performances that are so well done that I applauded when the film was over. Yes, that’s how much I enjoyed THREE.

Director To has had the biggest international films with DRUG WAR, MAD DETECTIVE and EXILED in the last few years. A native of Hong Kong, To began in television making his way to film being recognized for his work by the Palme D’Or in 2009, the Berlin and Venice International Film Festivals and the Toronto International Film Festival with many more to follow.

The Bluray includes the Special Features of The Making of from Master Director Johnnie To, Three Complex Characters and the trailers for the film.

In the end – they each must choose!

SWORDMASTER Brings Beauty and Mastery to Bluray

Jeri Jacquin

Coming to Bluray from director Derek Yee and Well Go USA Entertainment is a beautiful story of love, revenge and redemption with SWORDMASTER.

Ah Chi (Lin Gengxin) is a man with a past that has led him to live poorly through life. Ending up at a brothel, he becomes the handyman in order to have food to eat and a place to live.

Yen Shisan (Peter Ho) is a skilled assassin who has a path as well, to find anyone who is as good with the sword as he is. When he discovers there isn’t anyone, he decides to search out a beautiful place to drink himself into a grave he has picked out for himself.

Looking for the love of her life, Chiu-Ti (Jiang Yiyan) wants to find the man who has stolen her heart. Along with Cult (Norman Chiu), they look everywhere there is a rumor about the man known as Hsieh Shao-Feng.

Working in the brothel, Ah Chi meets Sweetie (Jiang Mengjie), a young woman who is taking the survival of her family onto herself. Ah Chi notices her right away yet doesn’t know yet her situation.

When Ah Chi sees her again with family, he clearly knows in his heart that not only is Sweetie a good person but comes from a family and village of caring people. When Chiu-Ti and the army come through to smoke out Hsieh Shao-Feng, everything becomes clear and a fight is inevitable.

It is who fights and how that happens that surprises all!

Gengxin as Ah Chi is a man who clearly is dealing with a painful past. Not wanting to pick up a weapon in any way, he meets someone who will teach him that a weapon doesn’t always have to be the way to win. Stuck in emotional quicksand, he finally comes to terms with his past and fights for what is right – as he was meant to.

Ho as Shisan is strong, funny, smart, and his skills are quick and at the same time doesn’t suffer fools much. Trying to bring his life some meaning he befriends Ah Chi hoping this is the person who he can give all his martial arts secrets too. His performance is surprising in the fast paced changes and yet the ending left me saying “oh no, do you have to?”

Yiyan as Chiu-Ti is a woman that could easily be considered seriously disturbed with serious broken heart syndrome. Wanting her love back, Chiu-Ti will stop at nothing including hurting others to get him back. With the help of Chiu as Cult, there are several triangles here that keep the story moving fast.

Mengjie as Sweetie is such a charming young woman and the fact that she ends up in a brothel doesn’t change anything about her character. Learning that she is taking care of her family brings such depth to this character and rooting for her is a must. I enjoyed her performance thoroughly and along with Paul Heiching as her doting and funny mother and Ma Jingjing as brother Miao, this is a sweet family that broke my heart.

Well Go USA Entertainment is an amazing company that brings the best of Action and Independent films from around the world. There format includes theatres, digital, cable and VOD along with Bluray. For more of what they have to offer go to www.wellgousa.com.

SWORDMASTER is a film rich in colorful and stunning costumes, amazing martial art sequences and characters that are filled with dilemma and drama. In this one hundred and five minute film, a story of all the emotions possible are delivered from a cast that gives meaning to ensemble work.

I love films like SWORDMASTER not only for its fantastic storytelling and the stellar cinematography that captures epic swordplay and fight sequences, but the beautiful costuming. It is important because costuming can become another character offering up so much elegance that it is absolutely breathtaking.

Director Yee is a former Hong Kong actor who became a screenwriter and film director bringing some of my favorite Asian films to the screen. From PROTÉGÉ to THE GREAT MAGICIAN and I AM SOMEBODY, director Yee takes amazing stories and gives them a richness that shows in every frame he offers to the screen.

The Bluray includes the Special Features of Mastering the Sword and also makes the English language version available.

In the end – it is the story of a master swordsman come to life!
