Coming to DVD from SHOUT! Factory and Toei Animation Inc. is
the reunion fans have been waiting for with DIGIMON ADVENTURE Tri.
In the 1990’s,
anime fans were introduced to a pop culture phenomenon with DIGIMON and now
they are back in their full length reunion film. It has been six years and Tai
is now in high school and three years since the final battles between the
warring factions.
Tai (voiced by
Joshua Seth) feels like all of the regular group of friends Sora (Colleen
O’Shaughnessey), Mimi (Philece Sampler), Joe (Robbie Daymond), and T.K. (Johnny
Bosch) are drifting away from one another. Although that’s important to a
teenager in high school, something else strange is also happening. All of their
electronics are behaving strangely and during a sporting event a Kuwagamon
tries to destroy the city.
Agumon appears
trying to digi into Greymon to fight Kuwagamon which causes more DigiDestined
and Digimon groups to appear to help. Believing they had won the battle, the
DigiDestined try to discover what caused all of this to happen. Tai and Matt
(Vic Mignogna) visit Nishijima to try and find out what caused the distortion
in space.
Izzy (Mona
Marshall) tries to find ways to get easier access to their Digimons and Tai
really feels as if people are going to be even more hurt. When the mysterious
Alphamon appears, Tai makes a connection with Meiko (Cristina Vee), a young
girl who recently began attending school.
Matt tries to
help Tai face what is scaring him and when it is revealed who is responsible
for the happenings, they must all come together to stop it all from happening!
